    Get it together people.

or were you referring to the other black people dressed ” respectfully ” during that time period that were being attacked with fire hoses and dogs? or maybe the ones getting lynched while white people stood under them, smiling and taking pictures?

or was it the ones that stood alongside MLK, dressed just as nicely, that got blown up inside of a church?

racism has nothing to do with how ” respectfully ” we dress. it’s about race.

stop making excuses for them you piece of shit.

    Please help spread awareness!!!!!!!!

They found her body today. [x] [x]

‪#‎RIPHiawayi‬ ‪#‎RIPHiawayiRobinson‬  Rest in Peace Hiawayi Robinson  ✞ Born on September 24th, 2005 - Got her wings on September 16nd, 2014 ✞ Kidnapped, Raped & Murdered Just Days Before Her Ninth Birthday! ‪#‎JusticeForHiawayi‬ The Hunt for Hiawayi’s Killer: The person of interest seen in the surveillence snapshots comes forward and will be interviewed by authorities immediately. This woman is likely the last person to see Hiawayi Robinson alive before her body was found in Prichard this afternoon. She is not a suspect.

Prichard Police and the FBI have confirmed the body found near Turner and Rebel roads in Prichard was that of missing 8-year-old Hiawayi Robinson, and that they are considering it a homicide.

They said for two days, local, state and federal law enforcement worked diligently around the clock to locate Hiawayi.

“The thing we have feared most has come upon us. Today at approximately 12 p.m., that search ended when regrettably the deceased remains of Hiawayi Robinson were recovered by investigators,” said Prichard Mayor Troy Ephriam.

The mayor said law enforcement will “continue their diligent pursuit of the person or person’s responsible for this senseless, cowardly act of unspeakable violence on an innocent child.”

He said they will leverage all tools and resources at the local, state and federal levels and will use all technology available to find the responsible person.

Mayoir Ephriam asked the community to continue to stand strong during this time of adversity. He also urged anyone with any information on the crime to please come forward.

“If you have seen Hiawayi Robinson in the last two days or have seen anyone in that time frame, we strongly urge you to share that information with us immediately. No information is too small or too insignificant,” the mayor added.

He said they have generated very good tips and information, but the investigation is still in its early stages.

Ephriam also discussed the lack of an AMBER Alert, he referenced the Department of Justice’s regulations. He said part of the requirements were that sufficient descriptive information relevant to the abductor and/or the vehicles used in the abduction to be present.

“In the case of little Hiawayi, we did not have that information. We did perform the best management practice that was called upon. We issued a missing persons bulletin and in such, allowed all members of law enforcement to establish necessary levels of protocol in the context as if an AMBER Alert had in fact been called,” he said.

Ephriam added they did have an individual that came forward with information. He said he wanted to express that the person is not a suspect or someone that was under matter of inquiry about her whereabouts.

“She offered valuable information that we can certainly use to go toward adding additional information that we may have and in hopes of being able to determine how to go further and look for this person,” he said.

He asked the community to not use this person coming forward as a crutch against her, to ostracize her or to use threats against her.

He said that people responsible for children should continue to emphasize the need for children to come home after school and to not talk to strangers. He urged parents to love their child in the aftermath of this tragedy and to not look badly on the situation of the Robinson family.

“We as parents and as adults, we have to continue to do the best job we can to inform our children, to educate our kids and to make them aware of the evils of this community and the social ills of this world they are sometimes going to be subjected to,” he said.

He told parents they need to talk to their children to take precautionary measures and to always be wary of their surroundings.

Folks who were on the scene where authorities found the body of Hiawayi Robinson sum up their feelings in three words.

    “Tragedy, tragedy, tragedy.”

Chris Kiker works at Whistler Machine Works, the business right next to where the body was found.

“It’s so sad, I have an 11-year-old and a five-year-old and I was just telling them last night, this could be you and here we find this right around the corner from our shop. It’s just devastating,” says Kiker.

“And knowing that a mom and father are missing their child, it’s just heart touching,” says Francis Williams.

Some had no difficulty sharing their feelings on this horrific event.

    “It’s sickening. It’s sickening.”

And some had no words at all. One woman is picking her fight with the police.

“If we had done an Amber Alert within 30 minutes of that little girl missing, this never would have gone down like this. They’re just wrong, that’s wrong. They waited 48 hours to even start looking for her, no, cause if that was someone else, they would have done it a whole different way,” says one woman.

Meanwhile, neighbors are calling for justice.

“Whoever did it, they need to come forth right now and let the mom and dad know what happened. Cause if that were my child, I’d be sad too. And mad,” says Rob Carstarphen.

And parents are holding their young a little closer tonight.

Anyone with information or tips on Hiawayi’s homicide is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
